.: Daddy Mummy's Silver Wedding Anniversary :.

Last Wednesday....
12th November 2008...
is my parents' 25th wedding anniversary....
a Silver Wedding..
that's wat we call it..and i'm not in Kl to celebrate such big event with them....my parents had walked a very very long way...together hand-in-hand...taking care of us 4...till today...till this moment..and it will go on forever n ever...for the every next moment...

every year...during my parents' anniversary...i will buy them a gift...to remember this great day..that had bond both them together...and brought all 4 of us..Shan + Wee + Chia + Yee to this world...and this year...i am not back home with them to celebrate this big day....

thinking back of tat day...12th November 2008..many things happened to me tat day...i'd been so busy the whole day...my group had feedback from our lecturer on our presentation..and it seemed like we'd done well..as all our feedback was good in this n good in that...then i had group meeting till like 9.30pm which didn't end quite well...and walk home in the cold nite after meeting...went home..cooked dinner and continue with my coursework...i totally had no time to call back home to wish my parents...i really felt so bad..for not calling home...

had jus read the blog post from my cousin sister...they went out celebrated this big day with my parents...i really wish that i would be there too...not because of the good food at Nikko Hotel..but it's because of the meaning of this great day...reading her blog post really makes me MISS HOME soo soo soo much...i'm missing home sooo much tonight !!!!....thinking of more n more busy weeks coming to me..reports n reports due soon...meetings n meetings day by day...really makes me feel like going home now...am jus so stressed!!!!!....really wanna to go home quick...especially after reading my cousin's post....

i really dunno how long more can i stand strong....
老天爷..please give me the strength to go on...please....

2nd wedding of the weekend...
it's on Sunday nite...held at the Banker's Club...located at the Penthouse (22nd floor) of Amoda Building K.L....
hehe...today...me accompany Unix to his fren's sister's wedding...her husband is from UK...

as usual...we were late for the dinner....but it's not my fault...i'd already got myself ready by 5.45pm...and waited for Unix to come fetch me...he at first said that he'll pick me up at 6.15pm...and..wat time he picked me up...late...ok..better not say..hehehe...after picking me up...we flew to KL with my Smart car car...and from K.K (Kota Kemuning) to Kl...he'd only used 30 minutes...so imagine how did he fly to KL with my Smart car car...cham ler....pity my car car ad lo...

when we reached...we were like almost one of the latest to arrive..making our very VIP entrance into the dining hall...hahahaha....Unix told me that the groom is from UK...and only that nite...after seeing the way they dressed only i know that the groom is Scottish...

this wedding dinner is indeed something very different...a western style wedding...and we didn't have the usual chinese "yum-sing" here and there...instead...we have toast n cheers here and there...one more thing more different that is...guests are allowed to smoke in the both the dining and living hall...so we had guest smoking and eating at the same time...

once exit from the elevator...we came to the reception table and to the living hall on the left with stairs leading to the top floor with dining and VIP rooms...and the dining hall in the right...the design is so cottage and the ambience is really great...fitted the bride n groom so much...

the food served is Chinese cuisine...and it's nothing special...just the same as the usual normal wedding dinner dishes...hehe...however...this wedding is also somewhat different too...as there's a bunch of crazily happening people in the house...hehehehehe....

.:smilez..Shan & drunken Unix again:. like i'd said tonight's wedding dinner is somehow different for other wedding dinner...cos at the end of the dinner..all of us adjourned to the dance floor...and after awhile of dancing...we had the bride throwing her flower bouquet to all the lady guest...the bride threw the flower from the top floor...usually...during this session....ladies are the one who are supposed to be snatching n grabbing the bouquet...but tonight...it's the opposite...it's the guys....when the bouquet was thrown...it went to the chandelier's direction...everyone was thinking it might get stuck there..and when it started to fall from the chandelier...wow...all the guys are there snatching for the flower...instead of the ladies.....................

after tossing the bouquet here n there....at last the guy who managed to get hold of the bouquet is...Willie...hehehe..congratulations..after that the group requested him to kneel in front of his gf to pass the flower to his gf...hehehehehehe....

another special thing of the nite is during the group photo session...all the guests of that nite are all gathered to the living hall..and all the guests will have to be in the group photo...how to fit so many of guests??...hehe...cos the photographers took the picture from the top floor...then the photographer asked all guys to carry their couple for the shoot...and in the end...guess wat...hehehe....the guests went to carry the couple of the nite...the bride n the groom...they lift both of them up...hahahahahahha....

It's weekend again...and...wow...another busy weekend for me...hehe...why???
been to 2 wedding dinner on both the nites...one on Saturday nite and another one on Sunday nite...heee...

on Friday nite...after dinner..when i was at garden with my mom n bro playing with the doggies...Ven suddenly called and told me that...Sereen invite me n Ven are both invited to her wedding dinner...i asked when..n she told me...giggling-ly..."tomolo nite"...i was like wat??...tomolo nite dinner tonight only tell me...hahaha...only then i know that Sereen had lost our numbers and had been looking around for our number...hahahahahaha....so in the end..me n Ven...we both decided to go to our this Monash fren's Wedding dinner which is at Cyberjaya The Lodge Resort & Spa...to go there to give the couple our best-est wishes...hehehehehe....talking back bout Sereen...she's our uni frens...and it had been a very long time since we last met...really long time din see her ad...and am really glad that she invited us to her wedding...

after my class at 4pm..went home..rest awhile then got myself ready to go to the dinner..went to Vennie's house to meet up n she drove us there....Sereen had garden wedding at 6pm...but because both of us can't make it..thus we go straight to the dinner..hehehe....

when i reach Ven's house...saw uncle n auntie...then..wehn i walked in...saw Ven..and...hahaha..luckily i did not wear that dress...i actually wanted to wear the dress Ven's wearing...and both of us actually have the same dress...and we didn't knew...hahaha..this is wat we called jimuiz....dears...hahahahah...so coincidently...then Ven was deciding which bag to bring...and after seeing me bring my LV Daimier...hehehe...she too brought hers along...haha...and both of us also wore blacks heels that is more than 3inches...hehehe...we jus look so couple-ish...hahahahahahaha....

as the theme of the nite is blue and ivory...thus...everything in the ballroom seems so blue n white...ahhh....my favourite colours....so the nice...we have white roses with blue ribbons....jus ove the deco so much...simple n nice n comfortable...good choice of colours...hehehe...well done Sereen... :)

and this is the best part of the wedding that i like...the wedding cake..it's not a gigantic..tall..big...wedding cake..it's...many levels of cupcakes...it consists of 7 levels...and each filled with blue n chocolate cupcakes...it's just so sweet and beautiful..like it a lot....

hehe...there's another thind special bout this wedding...which is that...it's not like the normal wedding dinner..let it be..Chinese..Western..Malay..or Indian..there you have food served to you...or the dishes are placed in the centre of the table for us to take our portion..however this wedding dinner is different...we had...buffet wedding dinner...and everybody starts eating only when the MC announce that we can now go *makan*...hehehehehe...specialnya...and we even have a pasta counter outside the ballroom..where the pastas are cooked on the spot...yum !!

when we wanna leave..Lil' Shannon said good bye to us as she n her parents left first...and...hahaha..during all the way while me n Ven exiting..we see Shannon and her parents...cos they are stopping by here n there to take pictures around...jus like wat me n Ven did...hehehehe...then outside the ballroom...we saw Lil' Shannon...me asked her to take pics with me...she dun wan...and thus..we only have this photo....haih.....kekekekekeke...

after the dinner...while on the way home...hehehehe...we got lost in Cyberjaya...we went the wrong way..and we didn't know where were we...hahaha..lucky got Ven...keng keng....thus we managed to get back..after turning here and there around Cyberjaya...hehehehe...u r great Ven !!!

hee..seeing Sereen happily getting married to the guy of her life...makes me think...when will it be our turn?..will it be me first or Ven's first...and who will be our next fren that will get married next??..how does it feels like getting married??..to me...marriage is a very great commitment...and wedding is a very happy n auspicious ceremony...thus...until now..am still the same...love to attend wedding dinner...to give the couples our best-est wishes...may u all live happily every after... :)
