.: Perfect Gourmet~食全食美 :.

it's another day with oishii food again..hehehe..
this time..it's not japanese..and it's not with my family...
it's Shanghainese cuisine this time...
hee..thanks to Mr.Yap..the owner of 食全食美..this Shanghainese Restaurant is at Kepong...
Mr.Yap and Mr.Tan of Hai-O had invited me n my dear Chris over for dinner last nite (08.Jul.08, Tuesday...exactly 1 month before the Beijing Olympics)..hehe..

the food was great...we had the Shanghai Xiu Long Bao..and they have their own special falvour..the Bak Kut Teh Xiu Long Bao..hehe..but i still prefer the original one...then we had..this salted egg yolk fried vege which i liked a lot that i jus can't stop biting it..hehehe..and many other delicacies...but i didn't manage to take pictures of the food...cos..hehehe...pai-seh ler..in front of the sponsors of my red wine ad...hehe...not nice to take the pic infront of them ler..moreover the food is not served individually..it's the usual chinese way of eating..thus...didn't get to take the pic of it lo...

hehe...but..me managed to take picture of the desserts...hehehe..thanks to Unix...he helped me to take the pictures...hehehe..both the desserts are real nice..causing me n my dear Chris...just cant resist to grab a few more bits of it...so wat are the desserts??...hehehe...we had...sweet potato n yam...heheehe..sounds so simple..nothing special rite..wait till u see the pic...it really taste great ... !!

.:sweet potato with *mak-nga-tong*:.

when eating this...after taking the piece of sweet potato...u'll have to dip the potato into the water then only eat...why?...cos it's wrapped with *mak-nga-tong*...dunno wat is it called in english...it's some sort of caramel ler...ok...back to the mak-nga-tong...cos the sweet potato is wrapped with it..and it's hot..and the mak-nga-tong have to be pulled till very long for it to break..thus..by dipping the potato into the water for a few seconds..it'll break the mak-nga-tong..but becareful...cos the sweet potato is still hot hot hot one ah...hehehe...have to try this...very uniquely delicious...hehehehehe...

this mashed yam is pretty sweet...it melts in ur mouth once u eat it...and with the ginko for biting...hehehe..with jus yam..they's made another special dessert...hee...

after the full full full meal..and before we leave..Mr.Yap wants us to sign an autograph first...so..we now had...ahem...hahahaha...nothing ler...jus Sunnie & Chris autographing...signing off the bunting..hehehehe....the gold marker that we use didn't have much ink..thus our signature is not that visible also ler..hehehe...but then next time when u go there...u can try to spot my signature oh..hehehehe...

the dinner ended well...and me...returning home with more experience gained...thanks to stories n lessons thought during the dinner...lastly and once more...Thank You Mr.Yap and Mr.Tan for inviting us to the dinner...thanks Heather too....and also thanks for the great service by the staffs at the restaurant...thank u..谢谢！

Lesson: we never stop learning..and no matter where we are...from the things we see..from the people we meet..and jus anything at all...we are always learning from it..it's jus how much we can digest what had we learnt yesterday...it's just how much we know about wat we'd learnt today..and how much we will be learning from tomolo??..so..dun jus learn in school...learn in life...
